DWP procurement, for new contract opportunities not using commercial arrangements let under previous public procurement legislation, such as Public Contract Regulations 2015, is subject to the provisions of The Procurement Act 2023 (The ‘Act’).

The Act legislated for provision of a central digital platform to host Find a Tender service (FTS) and makes it easier to find and bid for contracts, and for buyers to meet their transparency commitments under the Act.

For procurement opportunities over regulated thresholds as set out in the Procurement Act 2023 – your organisation will also be required to register on the central digital platform and complete Supplier Information to participate in DWP contract opportunities. See link here Find a Tender.

DWP may also request organisations register for lower value contracts to reduce the administrative effort of both Buyers and Suppliers.
